Roy Tilghman collection, 1769-1866.

Summary: Collection consists of two folders containing wills, land transfers, hijuelas (estate records) and other legal documents from New Mexico. Also included is a journal kept by Jose Salaices from 1789- 1818, and several Catholic prayer books. Many of the documents refer to local families and individuals in Santa Fe County, as well as various government officials such as alcalde mayores.
